In an effort to crack down on impaired drivers, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office will be increasing enforcement efforts through sobriety checkpoints starting Friday, Feb. 1 through 4 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 4.
Officials encourage those attending Super Bowl events to choose a designated driver or make plans to ensure a safe ride home. The campaign also has its own app, called “Have a Plan.”
